About Smudging: Smudging is a sacred practice using dried herbs like sage or sweetgrass to cleanse energy, purify spaces, and promote healing. To smudge, light the herbs, gently blow out the flame, and fan the smoke around your body, space, or sacred objects while setting positive intentions. Use a fireproof vessel to catch ashes. Sweetgrass burns slowly and can be combined with other medicines like sage or palo santo. Rehydrate dry sweetgrass by soaking in water, then drying before use.
