Everything You Need to Know About Wrap Rings

Wrap Rings: One Size Fits All

You might have stumbled across our website and wondered: What’s so interesting about wrap rings?  Just like their name says, they are one piece of metal that wraps around your finger to fit almost any ring size. They are comfortable to wear because the open design makes them lightweight and easy to adjust. They are perfect for gifting since the adjustable sizing takes the guesswork out of finding the right fit. Here are some answers to the commonly asked questions about wrap rings.

1. How Are Wrap Rings Sized?

It's actually crazy how simple it is. To make it larger, we slide the ring down on a ring mandrel. This gently expands the size of the ring. To make it smaller, pliers with plastic ends are used to carefully bring the edges inward. If you’re unsure about resizing, a jeweller can easily adjust it for you. Or, leave a note at checkout, and we’ll size it before shipping.

2. How Do I Wear My Wrap Ring?

You can wear it however you like. Some prefer to wear the crest facing outwards to show their clan crest or chosen design. Others choose to wear the design facing inwards to admire it's artistry, or as a personal reminder of its symbolism, such as a special memory, or time spent on Haida Gwaii. There’s no right or wrong way—just choose what feels most meaningful to you.

3. How Do I Care for My Wrap Ring?

Keeping your wrap ring in top shape is simple. Use a polishing cloth to maintain its shine. Store it in a small plastic bag or an airtight jewelry container when not in use. If it darkens due to oxidation, a jeweller can also restore it with an ultrasonic cleaning, or you can allow it to oxidize to create more contrast and depth to your ring.

4. How Can I Style my Wrap Ring?

One Wrap Ring at a Time

Wearing a single wrap ring allows you to fully appreciate it’s craftsmanship. This minimalist approach turns the intricate design into a focal point, serving as a meaningful statement piece for you to enjoy.

Paired with Other Rings

Pair your wrap ring with complementary bands and create a unique visual narrative. This approach can blend textures and other metals, creating a visual story that reflects your style and personality.

Multiple Wrap Rings

For those ready to make an impression, experimenting with multiple wrap rings is the way to go. Mix a wide ring with a narrow one, or double up on your favourite style. This combination can showcase your individuality, mixing different designs that suit your personality, or maybe it’s just two animals you really love.
