Carol Crosby is a Haida woman from Skidegate, B.C. She spends her summers in the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, National Marine Conservation Area Reserve, and Haida Heritage Site. There she works as a watch woman. Her role is to welcome visitors and to watch over villages sites in Gwaii Haanas. During the summer months she also spends her time weaving these beautiful red cedar baskets.
